Vice President Candidates Hey WPA It’s that voting time of year again and this year I am looking for your vote for Vice President. In my opinion, an effective Vice President is one that is organized, supportive and experienced, all of which I have demonstrated this past year. As the volunteer coordinator I have had an awesome time running the holiday card fundraiser, organizing the PRC volunteers and working together with the rest of the exec to bring you an excellent 2005-2006 year. I am looking forward to the privilege of being on the WPA exec next year since I have a lot of great ideas in the works for the coming year (for example, a Volunteer Opportunities Information night early September and a WPA Formal). Thank you to all members for making this an awesome year and remember to Vote CT (Christine Tetrault) for VP!!! I appreciate your vote! GOOD MORNING WPA! Alison Carere here. I’m running for Vice President of the WPA, but before I get into why you should send your vote my way, let me tell you a little about myself. I began Western as a Science student but fell in love with Psych 020. Who could resist liking a course taught by a moonwalking, part time disc jockeying, professor. After taking 281 (that’s right... stats) I knew that psychology was the program for me. So why should you vote for me? Aside from my burning love for the #1 Program on campus, I would make a great VP because I am well organized, easy to get along with, a strong leader and have a great sense of humor. I also have previous council experience, being a member of Westminster Residences council team. But the most important reason you should elect me as your VP is because I aim to please. I want to hear from all of you, about how I can ‘spice’ up the WPA and encourage more event attendance. Vice President would give me the broadest perspective, assisting all members of the exec with their duties, which will allow me to ensure the WPA is member friendly. So remember... when election time rolls around “Vote Al 4 VP”. I’m out.
