Chloe Hamza - President

Hi Everyone, I am absolutely elated to be acting as this year’s president. It is my hope that the WPA will provide psychology students with ample opportunities to develop personal and professional relationships with fellow peers and professors, obtain relevant volunteer experience, and learn everything there is to know about obtaining a degree in psychology. If you are interested in pursuing a degree in psychology, then the WPA is most certainly for you. Let us provide you with everything you ever needed to know and more! Michelle Fung - Vice President

I'm in 3rd-year Psychology and I'm looking forward to another great year with lots of great social & academic events. Having been a part of the exec for the past two years, I'm very excited to act as you Vice President this year. As it has been in the past, the VP organizes the annual gift wrap just before the holidays. Also, the former VP started the 1st annual WPA Formal and I definitely hope to continue the tradition. I look forward to meeting all of you - the awesome members of the WPA!

Kimberly Lindahl - Volunteer Coordinator

Hello! I am a fourth year double major in Psychology and Health Science, and this is my second year on the WPA's Exec as Volunteer Coordinator. I am very excited to get started on this year’s fundraiser, and to meet the new group of enthusiastic volunteers who will make it happen. Aside from executing the WPA’s annual fundraiser, I hope to work closely with this year’s group of PRC volunteers to make it an even more rewarding and meaningful experience for those who use the PRC, and those who run it! If you are interested in volunteering with the WPA or volunteering in a psychology related setting around London, please feel free to contact me!

Erin Yong Ping - Social Coordinator

Hi Everyone! I am extremely excited this year to be apart of the WPA exec. I am in my final year of the Honours Psychology BSc. program and I am also completing a minor in biology. Outside of school I volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic, and I have volunteered as a dancer/choreographer for the OHM Fashion Show since my first year at Western. After completing my undergraduate degree I hope to attend graduate school for Neuroscience/psych and possible go on to medical school. The WPA has provided me with a chance to interact and meet with a lot of nice and helpful people within the Social Science Faculty. As Social Coordinator this year I hope to plan a lot of exciting events that will encourage members of the WPA to interact with fellow students and professors.

Valarie Murphy - VP Finance

I'm in my fourth year in the Honors Specialization in Psychology program, hoping to attend law school next fall. After being a member of the WPA for 2 years, I am proud to be a part of the WPA executive for my final year here at Western. Being a part of the WPA has been a rewarding experience for me as it has allowed me to develop stronger relationships with fellow students who share similar interests. More importantly, events such as the "wine and cheese" have allowed me to interact with many grad students and professors on a more personal basis. Joining the WPA has opened up many doors of opportunity for me. If the study of psychology is of interest to you, our events are a great way to get connected to the psychology community here at Western. Cheers, and I hope to see you at our events!

Laura Ocolisan - VP External Marketing

I am in my fourth year of the Bachelor of Science in Psychology and the major in Spanish Literature. In the past year WPA has helped me a lot in determining a few paths for my future academic life and I hope it will do the same or even more for you! I am really looking forward to this year's events especially since as VP External I will do my best to maintain a great connection between everyone at Western, Brescia, Kings, and WPA. I also hope that you will take the chance to get involved with the events and the other opportunities we're offering, come out to meet some wonderful people, and form new great friendships so that at the end of the year you'll be happy to have been part of our association. Andrew Geraghty - VP Internal Marketing

I’m a fourth year Biology and Psychology double major in the Bachelor of Science program. I originally started out as strictly a science student, but after taking SuperPsych with Dr. Mike, Psychology has captured my interest and become my second area of study. I'll be maintaining and updating the WPA site, as well as getting the word out on everything the WPA has to offer, and ensuring that this year is as great as our past years have been.
